Rocket/Laser Screen

When you screen the other team to death there are several ways that they deal with it one is that they will actually tackle your F in the back field not allowing him to release on the screen.  This is a System concept a little tutorial remember all the screens to the right are 40's and 50's are to the left receivers are numbered from the sideline to the box 1,2,3,4. So a 41 Solid screen to the Z on the right. 60 set is quick passing game protection, and 90 set is 5 step.

Rocket 

• LT 60 set Release Flat Left to Flat Defender
• LG 60 Set Release Flat to Right and Peel Block
• C 60 Set Release Flat to Right Box to Safety
• RG 60 Set Release Flat Right to Alley Defender
• RT 60 protection, high wall to cut defender
• X 51 Solid- 2 Steps Up-field, Retrace, work towards QB Straight down LOS, 
• Y Go up 2 Steps & Crack 1st LB in Box
• Z Block Corner or most dangerous man 
• H 2 Steps Up-field Block#1 or most dangerous man 
• F Slow Screen Right - slide to inside leg of Right Guard and release  with his release.find grass outside the box 
• Take a 90 Drop and set throw slow screen right (F) if "clear" if cloudy picture then throw solid screen away (51 Solid) 

Laser 

• LT 60 protection, high wall to cut defender
• LG 60 Set Release Flat to Left and Alley Defender
• C 60 Set Release Flat to Left Box to Safety
• RG 60 Set Release Flat Left to  and Peel Block
• RT 60 set Release Flat Right to Flat Defender
• X Block Corner or most dangerous man
• Y Go up 2 steps UP-field Block#2 or most dangerous man 
• Z 41 Solid- 2 Steps Up-field, Retrace, work towards QB Straight down LOS, 
• H 2 Steps & Crack 1st LB in Box
• F Slow Screen Left- slide to inside leg of Left Guard and release  with his release.find grass outside the box 
• Take a 90 Drop and set throw slow screen left (F) if "clear" if cloudy picture then throw solid screen away (41 Solid)
